Polytechnic Flying Group
|
Polytechnic Flying Group at the Technical University of Denmark is a flying club with approximately 70 active members and fleet of gliders ranging from a basic training "Junior SZD51" to "state-of-the-art" twin-seater Duo Discus T fitted with engine, and our "crown jewel" is the very special homebuild tow-plane - Polyt 5.
Are you living in the Copenhagen area, and do you have an interest in gliding, please feel free to contact us. We have our workshop in Building 237 at the DTU campus in Lyngby. The phone number there is 4587 5914. - During weekends, try the clubhuse phone at 5929 1432. Otherwise, call Jon Steensen at 4031 4499. The flying activities takes place at Kalundborg Airfield, about 90 km west of Copenhagen, where PFG has a large well equipped clubhouse, including a number of rooms for staying overnight at weekends, and a large kitchen that cater for cooking a delicious dinner every Saturday.
